Hot hot hot

Whoa! Today was a scorcher. I wasn't paying attention to the weather forecast and was surprised to wake up to hot hot hot!

I didn't realize that it was going to be so hot when I planned my long bike ride. I didn't put on any sun screen and only brought one bottle of liquid to re-hydrate. Ooopsie!! I am thankful there was a good breeze blowing off the ocean. In fact, I was nearly blown off my bike when I hit the open area in Cardiff.

I went for a nice refreshing dip in the pool when I returned. If it is warm like this again tomorrow - I think I will spend the afternoon at the beach.
